Primož Ekart is an actor, theatre director and writer. He appeared in more than 90 theatre performances, several feature movies, TV series, radio plays, street-theatre performances, produced by a range of theatres from the Slovene National Theatre to off productions, in which he played both leading and supporting roles. He co-founded the Studio for Research of the Art of Acting where actors are introduced to the work of Stanislavsky, Strasberg's Method Acting, Michael Chekhov's Method, etc.

He is the founder and artistic director of Imaginarni, a theatre production house. Lately he has moved on to directing and producing theatre plays. He directed several plays that are still running.

Apart from studying acting on AGRFT, he went to Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and took part in many workshops lead by acknowledged both Slovene and foreign experts.

At the moment he attends postgraduate studies for Film on AGRFT.
